It’s often difficult to get the information and support you need. Studies have shown that doctors don’t talk to their patients regularly about sleep. Listed below are some links to good advice we’ve found on other sleep-related sites.

Members of our group are available to discuss our experiences with narcolepsy, and there are many internet-based chat groups and bulletin boards which are great sources of information.

The National Sleep Foundation has research that shows that physicians ignore sleep problems, and conclude that patients must take responsibility for bringing up sleep related issues with their doctors.

We recommend keeping a Sleep Diary if you feel you may have a sleep disorder. It is a good way to show your doctor some "proof" of your concerns.

There are several support groups worldwide that we are in contact with including in Australia and the UK.
